This is a birdwatchers dream... highly recommended!!!

This app is incredible! It has basically everything you would need in a field guide-type app. It isnt as comprehensive and detailed as other field guides or references, but given that this app is free, the accessibility and info that it does provide are unbelievable!

Excellent application for identification and reporting of wildlife in your area.

Hands down, this is the best bird app. Its Audobon.

Love this app, had a bird that would make calls right outside my window early in the morning but I could not see it. Thanks to your app I finally can put a name to the culprit (cooper hawk) you have saved my sanity at least, just wish I could say I could rest easy but not with this bird. Thank you very much.

I got the 4.1 version and really like the John J Audubons Birds of American. Its very informative w great pictures. This is a wonderful app that has excellent information about a huge variety of birds that makes it easier to identify species. The calls are accurate and interesting to listen to. The app is easy to navigate and is a must for all the bird lovers.

This app is gorgeous. Love everything about it. Search is easy and sounds are beautiful. Even my birds think so!

A really nice app for bird watchers!

Unlike similar competitive iPad and iPhone apps, none of this series of apps allows changes to a users "Preferences" for location. Try as I may, I always wind up in Vermont for location and I have never been there. I was eventually able to drag a pin (very laboriously) to get into a general geographic area but never to a specific place. After restarting the app it did not manage to retain the very rough location setting.

I have just began using this app and love it! Very useful and full of information.

I hear so many birds in my backyard, that being able to play the soundbites of the suspected birds helps me to identify them.
