Easy to use, fun and definitely has got me excited to get out and looking for birds.

As I am new to bird watching, I was hoping to find an easy way to identify birds. I am having some trouble trying to use the app, but will stick with it, as it seems to be very complete.
This is a good app, loaded with a lot of good info.
Great app to look up birds in North America. Also its access E-bird to find bird sightings in the local area.
This app is a simple to use informative and handy resource. I highly recommend it. Good pictures, bird calls, and descriptions.
I paid $20 when this first came out. Tried to open app, it is now forcing me to either use Facebook or create an account. I DO NOT WANT TO CREATE AN ACCOUNT! I want my money back
Love this app as it allows us to learn and discover by shape, size, region.... Is is my go to reference app for birding
I am a casual bird watcher and this app is perfect for me. I found the calls section the most helpful.
Just got it. So far it has been easy to use. Offers a bit more than my Cornell Merlin app. Like how to locate a bird.
Great photos
So awesome. Thanks for making it!
If you had asked me a year or two ago, I would have rated this app with five stars and said it was wonderful. Since then however there have been numerous "upgrades" and I find that even if I download the entire database, I still cant get all functionalities. If I remove the app and then download it again (then download the whole database or even just a regional database), some of the things that did not work before, work this time, but other things that did work before, dont this time. It is perfectly random. The most common thing that does not work are the bird calls - on some birds one or two calls work but no more. On other birds none of the birdcalls work. I cant think of too many birds were all the calls worked. But also the range maps dont always show up, but pictures dont always show up, etc. If you think its because I did not download the entire app, you are wrong. After downloading it to my phone, I go into settings and download either a regional or, more commonly, the whole database. I thought when I upgraded to a new phone (went from iPhone 5 to iPhone SE) it would work better, but its the same. Time to look elsewhere for a birding app.
This app is great for learning more about birds, and having a little community of other bird enthusiasts to share sightings with. Perfect!
This app could be one of the best out there. It allows me to keep my photo collection of all my digital bird species over the past 12 years and link it to really good information. It also is accessible is on my iPad, iPhone and laptop which is cool However, developers could fix a few things which would make it almost perfect: 1) The location pin can almost pinpoint the exact spot that a bird was seen, but it doesnt appear anywhere on the post. 2) It doesnt allow for customizing a location, unless you include it in the field notes. 3) When you edit to replace a photo, the old photo keeps appearing on the post. You must delete the sighting and start over. 5) The counter keeping a running total of your species doesnt update on your post unless you go back to the original menu and select My Sightings again. 5) Someone else mentioned that there are no bird species from the Hawaiian Archipelago, including seabirds that could show up on the West Coast. This app is a cut above other bird ID apps, but has the potential to be world-class-awesome.
I travel extensively throughout the country for business and I always take a pair of binoculars and my Audubon Guides, they are the quintessential resource for birdwatching throughout the country.
Just started bird watching, this tool helps considerably.
For bird watchers there is no equal.
First of all you were greeted by a splash screen. I paid for the app so I shouldnt have to look at ads. Secondly, much more importantly, you are forced to create an account!it is unconscionable to force somebody to create an account for something they paid for and now cannot use without this step. I feel defrauded
Since we bought our log home upstate, Ive used this app while sitting outside on our deck much more now than ever before. The bird sounds my apple device, attracts birdlife right up on my railings, close and personal. I cant believe how much wildlife I have now with this app. Thanks again for a wonderful was to enjoy my time upstate New York.
My first review of an app. I loved this one. Downloaded it at the beginning of summer and - other than it having me living in a place Ive never heard of - Ive enjoyed it. Until now. Every time I Try to add a sighting I get an "upload failed" message. Twice I deleted the app and reloaded it. It allowed me to upload one more sighting each time before giving me the failure notice again. I have to go to NatureShare on my laptop to upload sightings, which is annoying. My photos on my phone are superior to what shows up on my old laptop. I tried to find contact info to ask about the problem, but nothing. I hope they fix whatever is causing my inability to add a sighting!
