I highly recommend that apps for Birds. That is just the best and worth the money you spend.

I dont want them to send me any update, information or whatever. Nevertheless they insist in registered users only... That for the app (and other audubon apps) is useless for me

I particularly find that hearing the birds helps immensely in identifying the species. With subtle differences in species, the song or call is often the most significant clue. Very useful and excellent user interface. You will be delighted.

An app that requests anything in exchange for use is not free. My personal information is more valuable than a token fee other apps request.

I wish these apps would give you a few times of signing in or a couple of hours of accumulated time in use before repeated asking for a review. What do I know about the app after checking in one time for a few minutes and asked I think 3 or 4 times already to write a review. Based on what I see so far I will give a 3 star rating. If I were asked this much later it might of been 5 star who knows.

I have all of the bird field guides for the IPad and I must say this one is the best for finding birds. With the frequent updates and the integration of natureshare and ebird, this app is so much fun to use. If you are looking to go out and find some rare birds this app will tell you where they are located on a map and when they were last seen. I find that extremely useful and very fun. At 4.99$ now, if you are a birder you must have this app!

After browsing through many apps and reading online recommendations, I selected this app and am not at all disappointed after a short search for birds near Puerto Vallarta, far from my comfort zone in western Canada. This will be great at home and on travels in US as its so easy to use.

Love this app. Im an amateur bird watcher and this app is easy to use and with user sightings its like waze for birders

I have only used it for a few days here at my winter place in the Bahamas. There are a few birds missing from the app that I see over here, but so far the app has been very helpful with the details of the birds I do see. I also live in Canada where the app is made for so I may find it even more helpful, but wont know until I return. May change my rating after returning to Canada. I have tried 3 other apps and ended up deleting them.
